One of the most attractive aspects of Carmen Lundy’s career is that she has created her own tone, style and delivery. Here, along with her composing skills, she plays guitar and keyboards along with Patrice Rushen/p, Ben Williams/b, Kendrick Scott/dr, Jeff Parker/eg and Elisabeth Oei/voc for a dozen personal and exciting new pieces.

Carmen Lundy is on Tour in October 2016! Starting at the Blue Note in Milan on October 25th, then on to Dublin for a special performance at the Opium Room on October 27th. The group continues to London at the famed Pizza Express Jazz Club for 2 nights - October 28 and 29, and ends in Paris, returning to Duc des Lombards for another 2 nights on October 31st and November 1st. The 2016 Lifetime Achievement in Jazz has been awarded to Carmen Lundy by the prestigious organization Black Women In Jazz & The Arts. The Gala Awards Ceremony will be held in Atlanta on April 10th, 2016. Other Honorees include Cicely Tyson, Freda Payne and Dr. Synthia Saint James for their outstanding body of work.
