One can only imagine the effort & hard work that goes into creating the type of vocal-instrumental disc which jazz singer Carmen Lundy has created for us to enjoy. The frosting is that all these fine musical missives are from the creative intellect of this fine chanteuse.
This is an important treatise from a singer-composer who is contributing (in real time) to the development of our beloved art-form…..JAZZ! As a jazz singer, might I suggest to our readers that her vocalise is certainly authoritative, lovely, diverse, & expressive. As for Carmen’s compositions…..In a word compelling! I’m apprised she’s been around for some 30-yrs, thank you! So, we’ve not heard the last from her, Thank Goodness!!
