Spring and Summer Concerts!

Performances to look out for and to travel to!

The Annual Mary Lou Williams Women In Jazz Festival at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. welcomes Carmen and her band back to the Terrace Theatre on May 10th.  A Kennedy Center favorite, Carmen will be joined by Anthony Wonsey, Kenny Davis and Jamison Ross.  May 12th will present Terri Lyne Carrington's "Mosaic Project", and the evening is sure to be full of surprises!

Carmen will return to the Cotton Club in Tokyo, Japan where she launched her previous CD "Solamente" back in 2010.  This time, we're celebrating the brand new release of "Changes".  Long-time colleague and pianist Billy Childs will join Carmen in Tokyo, along with Kenny Davis on bass and Jamison Ross on drums.

Carmen will also be at the Festival International de Jazz de Montreal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on July 4th at 6:00 pm.  Club Soda is the perfect venue for Carmen and her trio, this time with Anthony Wonsey on piano, Corcoran Holt on bass and Jamison Ross on drums.

The end of July brings a pair of special dates:  Sunday, July 29th, the Douglas Beach House in Half Moon Bay, CA presents an afternoon concert on beautiful Half Moon Bay, at 4:30 with Carmen and trio. And then on to Reno, NV for the annual Artown Festival, another concert performance at 7:30 PM on July 30th.
